SHANE MURPHY Director, surveillance Operations

Shane Murphy has more than 17 years of experience as a licensed private investigator in surveillance, intelligence operations and investigation oversight. Prior to his work with Lanki Investigations, Shane worked as a volunteer paramedic/first responder in metro Vancouver and was awarded the great distinction of the Order of St. John in 1990. Shane moved on to pursue a career in security and executive protection, receiving targeted training in forensics and loss prevention before his recruitment to Lanki Investigations in 1995.

As a valued member of Lanki Investigations, Shane specializes in surveillance, criminal intelligence, and executive protection, which, combined with his cross-training experience as both a Surveillance Operative and as an Investigator, has propelled him to his current position as Director of Surveillance Operations.

Shane is an active member of the Canadian Association of Private Investigators (CAPI) and Private Investigators Association of BC (PIABC), and is on the Board of Directors of the New Westminster Masonic Holding Company, serving as one of its Directors for the past six years. He is currently involved in course training for the Pacific Human Development Co. and consults on course curricula at the company’s headquarters in Langley, BC.
