Clip 1

Problem – The claimant was an electrician by trade who was initiating a claim for injuries sustained to his back and shoulder regions, indicating he was totally disabled from returning to his employment. Prior to surveillance, the claimant signed a statement indication he was unable to lift a carton of milk from his refrigerator.

Result – As a result of litigation, the claimant was incarcerated and ordered to pay all fees associated to his claim.

Clip 2

Problem – This claimant had received 7 years of total disability benefits for a back and knee injury. The claimant would further remain on long-term disability.

Result – Claimant was filmed 3 consecutive days working on his trailer. Claimant filmed on the morning of a scheduled appointment practicing walking with crutches and a cane. Upon reviewing surveillance video, the claim was closed with benefits terminated. Client advised savings reaching $670,000

Clip 3

Problem – This claim was initiated for injuries sustained to the neck, shoulders and lower back. The claimant attended our client’s office confirming he was not able to continue any type of employment.

Result – Claimant was filmed after his interview working at a nearby construction site. The claim was immediately terminated.

Clip 4

Problem – These 2 individuals initiated a claim against our client indicating total disability. Both individuals mentioned they were students at a local university.

Result – Both subject's were determined to be first string players on the university basketball team. This claim was denied immediately.

Clip 5

Problem- 6 year disability claim for long term injuries which include neck, back, shoulders and legs, as well as psychological. 9 separate medical practitioners suggested to our client that we surveilled the wrong individual.

Result- Subject found to own a café. Client set up a meeting with subject. Subject was filmed prior to, during and after the meeting. Total savings to client reached 990,000.

Problem- 5 year disability claim of entire back region. Medical reports suggested the subject may not ever return to his employment.

Result- A weekend snowmobile trip in central BC. Complete closure of claim and estimated 325,000 savings to client.
